Oreos
for Breakfast
By The Paperbag Princess and The
Pumpkin Coach
"Aunt Rachel! Aunt Rachel!"
I opened one eye and glanced at the alarm clock next to my bed. It can't be morning, can it? I threw the covers over my head and reached over for Nick. I smiled to myself as I slowly remembered last night. Hanging out with James, then coming up here and trying to be quiet when we made love. I didn't think we succeeded, I'm sure James would be teasing us this morning. I snuggled up against his back and he stretched, running one of his hands down the outside of my thigh. I smiled against his back, planting tiny kisses across his shoulder blade and running my tongue along his tattoo. I bit down on his shoulder and he moaned, letting his head fall back as I ran my hand down his stomach toward his growing erection. Youth did have its perks, now, didn't it?
"Aunt Rachel! Aunt Rachel!"
I stuck my head out of the covers and it registered that my nieces were calling my name. I heard them running up the stairs and smiled. I loved being home and having them bring me breakfast in the morning when they wanted a special favor. I think I had given them a lifetime of favors by letting them spend the week with a Backstreet Boy.
"FUCK!" I screeched and Nick turned to me, startled.
I threw my hand over his mouth, "Shhhh the girls."
His eyes widened and we both heard them outside the door. In one movement, I pushed him off the bed and pulled the covers up over my naked body. Nick landed with a thud and "ouch" as the door flew open.
They bounded over to the bed, jumping on it and calling my name.
"Aunt Rachel! Aunt Rachel! We're gonna go on the boat! And Daddy said you and Nick can come, too!" Exclaimed Katie in her over excited eleven-year-old voice.
I pulled them both down so they didn't fall off the bed and go crashing in to Nick. Naked Nick. I had the covers, didn't I? Shit.
I bit my lower lip and pulled them onto my lap, turning to face the door, "If I know your Daddy, he wants waffles first."
"Pancakes," Katie offered, grinning up at me. My brother had a weakness for breakfast foods.
Just then James appeared in the doorway wearing nothing but his jeans, his chest still wet from the shower. "Hiya, ladies! Did I hear something about pancakes?" He smiled at them and then looked over at me questioningly. I smiled innocently and nodded my head toward the other side of the bed. He raised an eyebrow.
The girls tumbled off my bed and launched themselves at James. He was practically their uncle, they adored him. "James! Why are you here?" Colleen asked, grinning up at him as she hugged his leg.
"Did you know that Nick from the Backstreet Boys is here?" Katie giggled, then looked over at me, suddenly remembering it was supposed to be a secret. I laughed at the expression on her face.
"Really?" James feigned surprise. "I met a very nice man named Nick last night, I had no idea he was a real live Backstreet Boy!"
"Then he's still here?" She said, relieved, and I laughed again.
"Yeah, he's still here, sweetie," I told her. "Maybe he's in the shower, or out playing basketball? I'm surprised he didn't come running when he heard you two."
"Okay, girlies, let's go find the Backstreet Boy," James offered, taking their hands with a wink to me.
"Nick Nick Nick Nick get up!" They chanted as they ran down the hallway.
I stood up quickly and closed the door, locking it. I could hear them playing 'hide and seek' with the absent Nick down the hallway, James calling his name and the girls giggling as they opened closets and looked in cupboards.
I fell onto the bed, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Jesus, that was close.
"You hurt me!" Nick exclaimed as he fell on top of me, covering me with his body. "And left me without any covers!" He pouted down at me and I pulled the comforter at the foot of my bed around us.
"Sorry, sweetie but I didn't want to traumatize the girls with a naked Nick Carter in their ancient aunt's bed."
"Well, that has to be the oddest wake up call I've ever gotten. One minute I'm fantasizing about the fabulous sex we're about to have and the next, I'm cold and naked on the floor hoping to god two little girls don't notice I'm there."
"The story of your life avoiding the little girls." I teased.
He grinned down at me and I could feel him harden against my stomach. I moved my head away from him, listening to the sounds coming from downstairs.
"We'd better get up."
"I'm up," he teased, moving his hips against mine and running his tongue down my neck until he reached my breast. He pulled my nipple between his teeth gently, causing me to arch my back. I opened my legs slightly and he moved closer to me before stopping abruptly.
I opened my eyes, "Condom."
He cocked his head and smiled, "Umm yeah so much for spontaneity, right?"
I shrugged and he rolled off of me, allowing me to get up to find the condoms. I knew we'd thrown the box somewhere last night, hadn't we?
She pulled away from me and looked around the floor for the box of condoms. God, I hope we hadn't used them all! How many were in a box? How many boxes had we used in the last few days? She threw the box of condoms at me and I caught them, peering inside.
I pulled one out and licked my lips as she crawled back onto the bed, "Success!" I exclaimed as I tore open the wrapper and rolled it on.
She crawled to me, running her tongue around my belly button, making me squirm as she straddled me, positioning herself above me carefully. She hesitated there, looking down at me. Finally she ran her fingers through my hair and our eyes locked as she lowered herself onto me slowly. I couldn't take my eyes off of her as she arched her back and I entered her fully.
I reached toward her, running my finger over her tattoo. Right now, that was my favorite thing about her, the simple tattoo of a grapevine that encircled her belly button. She'd told me that she loved it when her lovers touched her there and that was all I needed to know. Suddenly there was never a more erotic spot on a woman's body than her stomach.
She leaned down and I kissed her chest, sucking on one of her nipples as I felt her tighten around me. I moaned loudly and she threw her hand over my mouth to quiet me. I pulled her against me and rolled her onto her back, quickening my thrusts. I could feel her teeth on my shoulder as she tried not to scream and I buried my face in the mattress to stifle my own cries.
I was going to have a bruise there on my shoulder. She'd bit the same spot last night when we were trying to be quiet for James.
We laid there for a moment, catching our breath. We both heard footsteps on the stairs and then her sister-in-law's hesitant voice.
"Um Rachel your cell kept ringing there's someone demanding to talk to you And the girls have searched the house for Nick "
She looked over at me and I shrugged.
"The boys know better than to bother me on vacation. I hope nothing's wrong," she worried as she pulled her robe around her body and headed for the door.
I rolled off of her, pulling off the condom and discarding it in the trashcan by the bed before finding my shorts and T-shirt from last night.
I opened the door a crack to take my phone from Vanessa. She tried to look in, smirking at me and I rolled my eyes. "Not now "
I shut the door again and fell back on the bed, "This better be good "
"Rachel, is he still there?"
"Frank?" Frank's voice freaked me out. What was wrong? Why wasn't he enjoying his time off and forgetting all about the blond one?
"Yeah. Kevin called this morning demanding that I get Nick to Arizona. What's going on?"
"Um " I considered the man lying next to me on the bed, covering his face with his hands when he heard me say 'Frank'. "Nothing. I don't think Nick's phone is on."
Frank hesitated a second. "Why not?"
"We've, uh, been busy."
Frank sighed just as Nick uncovered his face and grinned at me, trying to get me distracted. "Hell. I told you I'd stay and chaperone. Did you at least make it better?"
I grinned as Nick started kissing my arm. "Actually, I think it's worse."
"That's what I was afraid of. Put him on, he's got to get to Phoenix this weekend. Are you coming with?"
Just like that, I was part of the entourage? "I've got a tour starting this weekend."
"Is he going to be with you?"
"I don't know." We hadn't talked about it. We hadn't talked about anything, I don't think either one of us wanted to think about our real lives, when being here together was so good.
"He can't just pack a bag and hop on your tour bus, ya know. The fans will find him, and as soon as they know that you have no security, it's going to be a mob scene."
"Let's worry about Phoenix first, okay, Frank?"
Nick lifted his head from my arm, looking up at me questioningly as my tone changed. "Sorry, darlin'," Frank said softly. "He's just a handful."
I laughed. "He's more than that, Frankie. Here, talk to him. My flight to Minneapolis is at noon Saturday, I can get him to New York any time before that."
Frank started to respond but I threw the phone at Nick and went into the bathroom to take a shower.
Frank yelled and I listened for a few minutes and then told him I'd call Kevin and clicked off the phone. I didn't want to call Kevin, though. I wanted to be with Rachel. That was that. Maybe she didn't want me to be with her after Saturday, though. What then?
Then I'd go to Arizona or be with my family. But that wasn't going to happen. I was going to follow Rachel around. Just be Nick and watch her every night from the balcony and carry her guitar for her. And fuck her brains out every night. I smiled at the thought of her landing in my arms first thing after she came off stage. I didn't want Frank or Kevin or any of them ruining this. This week had been so fucking amazing and I didn't want to come back down yet, didn't want to leave this amazing house and her comfortable bed. Back to a different hotel room every night - without her.
I heard the shower stop and in the next moment, she was standing in front of me, dripping wet with a towel wrapped tightly around her.
"Damn, Rache you make anything look sexy," I smiled at her and she laughed.
"Oh, stop the flattery, little man! You're in trouble, aren't you?"
I shrugged. "I'm always in trouble, you'll figure that out soon enough."
"So what's the plan? Are you summoned to Backstreet Land? Oooh, do they have E ticket rides there like Space Mountain?"
I smiled at her teasing, "I wish. No. Kevin called Frank thinking he could convince me to come to Arizona this weekend. But Frank's on my payroll. He does what I tell him!"
She smirked at me, clearly not believing that I had any power in that relationship. Well, to be honest, I didn't usually. But since I met her, I'd been pushing it with Frank, asking for more independence.
"So when do you have to be in the city?" She asked, as she ran her fingers through her hair. I wanted to be doing that. Not talking about Frank and leaving and stupid AJ in Arizona.
He shrugged. Oh my god, this boy was bad with details. I looked over at my phone lying next to him on the bed. Why wasn't it ringing if Frank had been calling all morning? Certainly I had messages from him.
I walked over to the bed and picked it up.
"You turned it off, Nick!"
He gave me a blank look, "Yeah he was yellin' at me."
I had to laugh. "You are such a little boy! Call the man back and be a grown up! I'm going to go make the girls pancakes for breakfast!"
He reached for me and I moved away quickly. If I let him touch me again it'd be another hour before we went downstairs. No no no there would certainly be time for more sex later, right? God, please tell me there was much more Nick Carter sex in my future!
He pouted at me and I grinned at him. "I'm stealing this!" I picked up the football jersey he'd been wearing last night off the floor and disappeared into the bathroom again to get changed.
As soon as I was safely away, I brought his shirt up to my face. God, it smelled like him. I pulled it on over my head. It was 2 sizes too big, but I didn't care. I didn't want to let him go just yet.
The girls were running around the living room chasing James and I could hear Rachel and Vanessa talking in the kitchen. Bates glared at me and then hissed as I hit the last stair. I stuck out my tongue at him, "Get used to it, dude, I'm not going anywhere."
Great, I'm talking to the cat again. Get a grip, Carter.
It was a gorgeous day, the light streaming in through the large windows on every wall. My hair was wet and I'd stolen Rachel's Sid Vicious T-shirt in retaliation for her taking my favorite jersey. She looked over and smiled as I pulled up a chair at the kitchen table.
I could feel her brother watching me from the other side of the table as James came in and rambled on about people they all knew. I looked over at Jon and tried to give him a lighthearted smile. He was definitely the big brother. He'd been fine last week, but he must have figured out that now Rachel and I were together. Hell, it was fucking obvious to everyone but the kids. He was gonna kick my ass if I hurt her, wasn't he?
After a moment, Jon turned back to James and I sighed into my orange juice. Rachel came up from behind me and put her arms around my neck and I about jumped off my seat.
"G'morning, sunshine." She smiled down at me and kissed me on the cheek.
I shot her a questioning look and she just grinned. Did she tell everyone? She must have. Did that mean I wasn't just a fling? Was she my girlfriend now? I'd been panicking about that for the last 15 minutes in the shower, and came down here determined to act like we were nothing but friends.
I turned my head toward her, returning her platonic kiss on the cheek with an innocent peck on her mouth and she winked at me. God, I was gonna come unglued again. I quickly threw my napkin into my lap to cover my growing erection. Calm down, Nicky. Jesus.
"So what's the final verdict?" She teased and I groaned.
"I left a message for Kevin, it's too early out there. He's not up yet." I reached over Katie for the syrup and she stared up at me, I tousled her hair and grinned at her. "Katie, Kate! You couldn't find me this morning could you?"
She blushed and shook her head, "James said you might be playin' basketball. Can we do that later?"
God, I loved her nieces. They were so cute, little miniature versions of Rachel. "Cool. Think you and your Aunt Rachel can beat James and I?" We only had about 3 feet on them combined.
She looked at me with rapt attention and then giggled, "Daddy says Aunt Rachel sucks."
"Katherine!"
Jon's stern voice made me jump but Katie just giggled, "Well you did, Daddy! You said that Aunt Rachel played like a girl."
"Well Aunt Rachel is a girl," Rachel came up behind her, putting a couple slices of bacon on Katie's plate. "Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't kick your Daddy's butt!"
She smiled over at me. Yes, she was a girl. Even in my jersey that was two sizes too big, I could see her curves and the outline of her breasts. Did we have to go sailing? Couldn't we just stay here and have sex again?
"Umm Nick, you've never seen me play sports." I looked back to James and he lowered his voice, "It's not pretty."
"But you're so tall! You should be great!" Colleen called out, making James laugh.
"Well, Brian's the best basketball player I know, Col. And he's much shorter than me."
She considered this, "But Frank said you suck."
Rachel high-fived Colleen and they all started teasing me. This was going to be a long day, I could tell already.
Defending myself, I barely noticed when Rachel set a plate in front of me. As she moved away, Katie giggled. "You have a heart!"
I looked down. I did, blueberries arranged in a neat heart in the center of my pancake.
This has to mean she's my girlfriend, not just a fling. Right? You just don't do that for meaningless sex, do you? No matter how amazing it might have been I looked into the kitchen, and could see Rachel at the stove, adding blueberries to another pancake. "What do you want, Katie? I don't think I can fit 'I love the Backstreet Boys' in one pancake."
I think she was blushing, when she looked up to find me staring at her.
"I did not get a heart!" James complained. "All I got were blueberries, no design. No secret messages! I demand another breakfast!"
Everyone laughed, and Rachel went back to cooking, joking with James and her brother about what to write in the pancakes.
I never wanted to clear a room of people so much in my life.
Nick kept looking at me as I tried to finish making breakfast for my family. I shouldn't have done that stupid thing with the pancakes. God, I was acting like a teenager with a crush.
I felt like a teenager with a crush. Well, except for the sex thing. Was this going to go on? Or would it be occasional phone calls and emails like it had been before this weekend? I knew the phone calls would get further and further apart, and eventually he'd drift out of my life.
Please let there be more Nick Carter sex before that happens. I knew it wouldn't last, but I fully intended to enjoy every moment that it did.
I gave Katie a star in her pancake and flipped it over, catching Nick looking at me again. His hair was wet, bangs falling into his eyes, and my heart caught in my throat.
Oh, I was in so much fucking trouble, wasn't I?
Blushing, I looked back at breakfast. Damn, I knew this would happen, that's why I kept fighting it. I was going to fall so fucking hard, so fucking fast, and he'd lose interest.
I slid Katie's pancake onto a plate and took it into her. Nick was talking to her intently, I loved men who loved children. "There, baby, you're a star." I kissed the side of her head and she grinned up at me.
"You're my shining star, that is what you are " Nick started singing at her, making her blush. It didn't sound nearly the same without the layers of production, but I recognized it from the show. Colleen giggled and started singing along with him, and he grinned over at her. "Wanna learn the dance?"
Breakfast was forgotten and both girls got up from the table, their eyes huge as they nodded. "I think your Aunt Rachel has the CD, let's go find it." He took their hands and led them into the living room. Vanessa shot me a look and I tried to remember how suggestive the dance was, humming the song to myself.
I'd only seen them once, I could not remember was that the one with Nick and the phone, and the girl and the oh, hell. The song started and I put down my spoon, going to find them in the living room. James was already leaning against the wall, watching with an amused smile on his face.
"Alright, this part is AJ " Nick said, staring at the stereo. I could just see the hamster running in his head, was he even onstage in the beginning? He started the track over and went back to the girls, nodding his head in time to the beat.
Then damn. He was good at this. He sang along, dancing, making sure the girls followed him. This was one of the ones where they used the dancers a lot, so he played with them, showing them how to follow when he lead. They kept getting lost and giggling, and he just laughed, starting the track over and they practiced. I knew there were more suggestive moves in there - I distinctly remembered a butt shake or two during this song that made the place go wild, but he wisely skipped over those, since Jon and Vanessa were now watching us.
Grinning, he came over to me, taking me by the waist and making me dance.
I've never been so satisfied
with anything in my entire life
cause you are doin everything so right
Oh, hell, I was falling for sappy boyband lyrics, wasn't I? I caught James laughing at me and blushed.
You know that I adore you
wanna be there everyday for you
To satisfy your every need, my baby
Fuck it. I laughed, letting Nick sing to me. I knew it was just cheesy pop music, and it wouldn't last. But it sure felt good at the moment. He let me go, dancing back to the girls for the end of the song. He was good at that, making sure he didn't pay too much attention to one person.
Ah, the skills of a pop star.
The song ended, the first time the girls got through it without stopping, and everyone clapped. Even Jon was impressed. Nick grinned at the girls. "I just need to teach you about 20 more songs, then you can join the tour."
"In a few years," Vanessa interrupted and the girls pouted at her. "You've got high school to get through first."
"Nick never went to high school," Colleen pouted, and he laughed.
"Wish I did, though. Take your mom's advice. Are we going sailing?"
"Yeah!" They chorused.
"Cool! Let me grab my suit and we'll get the boat." He headed for the stairs and I followed him without a second thought. I locked the bedroom door, then fell onto the bed that still smelled like us, pulling him down with me.
"God, Rache, it was all I could do not to touch you in front of everyone," he whispered, kissing me.
"Let's try not to warp the girls with you pawing me in public, okay? Their parents have figured it out, that's bad enough."
"Is it?" He looked hurt, and I stroked his face, kissing him quickly.
"Let me worry about my brother. He's just protective of me."
"He's gonna beat me up, isn't he?"
I laughed. "You were cute with his kids, he might let you live. C'mon, we're going out on the boat."
