I think I'm still shaking! Nick was there and man… he's looking so hot! Don't know where he's been, but where ever it was, he's been in the sun. He's tan and looked so relaxed, guys. Really really good.
I think he just went away for a while and came down from the tour and AJ and all that stuff, you know. This has been a really tough year for them all.

I had to go get the film DEVELOPED!
Okay… I didn't get to talk to him long or anything. But we got there really early, hoping we could catch sound check and we heard two of the security people talking to venue staff about the barricades. Basically they were telling them that the barricades needed to be further back and they needed to make sure they'd hold.
I thought that was a little odd. My friend Malinda and I have been to a bunch of Aaron shows and people don't get too pushy or anything. So we hang out by the artist's entrance for a while and you could just tell that something was up, you know. Of course, we hoped it was Nick.
Finally, we know this roadie who we met at a couple shows and he comes over and starts talking to us. Of course, Malinda blurts out - 'is Nick coming'. I could have died right there. Smooth move.
He just laughed and rolled his eyes, 'I don't know… you'll just have to wait and see.'
Of course, that meant YES! I thought we were going to come unglued right then. In fact, we were freaking out so much, we didn't even notice Jane and Bob walk right by us. They said hello and we were like, 'hi… whatever.' And then totally had a giggle fit when we realized we blew off the Carters!
LOL!
Man, this is getting too long… ANYWAY… we wait until Leslie goes on and there's still no Nick. We see Aaron walking around backstage and we yell to him. He comes over and signs some of our stuff, then teases us that we're missing Leslie's act. Ooops. Guess we should go watch, huh? So we do. She's good, too. Glad we listened to Aaron *wink*
After Leslie we go back to the stage entrance and see a little blond head come out of a cab.
A CAB, people!
No limo. No chauffeured car. A yellow frickin' taxi cab. You could have pushed me over.
So we run. I mean, we RAN over to him and he looked back (god this is embarrassing). We were the only girls around and he turned around when he saw us coming and held up his hands - just like KEVIN - and tried to calm us down. Oh my, it was too funny! So we stopped running (I'm so out of shape!) and just like walked really fast up to him. He was grinning at us the whole time. It was really funny.
He looks great. Did I say that?
He was wearing a white t-shirt and had on this pink shell necklace. My guess is that he was in the Keys or Bahamas or somewhere warm 'cause, like I said, he was tan. His hair was lighter, too, like he'd been in the sun.
By the time we got to him one of Aaron's security guys has come out and Nick's like, "gotta pen, dude?" And smiles at us, "What am I signing, ladies."
I about died! I was shaking so hard. Malinda pulled out her Black and Blue CD and he signed it - even asked her name. Of course, she had to spell it for him, 'cause she uses that weird spelling. While he was signing Malinda's CD I asked him how he was doing and he said he was good. Really happy. I said he looked good and he kind of got embarrassed about that. It was weird. We asked if he was going to perform and he just grinned, "if they twist my arm, maybe."
Then his phone rang and he looked all excited. He pulled it out and looked at the display and then frowned and muttered something like "I'm not even answering that." And I was all like, "The boys trying to track you down?" And he just grinned again, "something like that."
Then he said he had to go and he signed my tour program and posed for a quick picture with each of us before the security guy pulled him away.
*sigh*
I think that's all. If I remember more, I'll post it. And as soon as I have the pictures scanned, I'll put a link up.

They were so cute. Again, my scanner is having issues… but as soon as I have them scanned, I'll put them up. I hope the ones of him with Aaron turn out.
And isn't it like a couple hours from Orlando to Tampa? Maybe he drove down to see his friends after the show?

The dude says they were at his toy store and Sudden Silence were shooting a video. Said that Rachel is even prettier in person and she was all flirting with him and then Nick showed up and she couldn't keep her hands off of him. (Nick, that is… Like you could see anyone else when Nick Carter is around! As if!)
That's the story. No idea if it's true. But Sudden Silence did a showcase thing last night here in Chicago. Didn't even occur to me to go and scope it out for Nick. Damn! I even kind of like their music.

I have a pal in St. Louis and I just got an email from her. Apparently she was at the hotel this morning when Sudden Silence checked in and Nick was there. He didn't go in with Rachel but they left together. She's email me pictures. She said they are most definitely together, but that he's not staying with the tour.
I'll get more info soon and pass it on.
She did tell me that Rachel did not answer the DJ's questions and that the guys in her band denied that he and Rachel were anything more than friends.

I didn't hear the radio interview, just heard about it. So maybe she didn't go on about Nick. But she did leave the hotel with him. My friend went over to the hotel after the interview and she said all the fans were going on about it. Someone said she saw them getting on the elevator and Nick was holding her hand and kissed her. (She tried to get on, but someone stopped her.)
And get this… apparently they were staying in the hotel under their own names. That's so cute! And I say that because when another friend tried to call up to Rachel's room later, they said she wasn't registered so, they must have changed that…. Can you imagine how many calls she and Nick got?

RE: Tonight's Sudden Silence show (not off topic!)Nick and Howie didn't show up until ½ way through the set and it was so cute. They obviously had a fight this afternoon (bow down to my gossiping greatness… I called it!) because he was practically falling over the side the VIP balcony trying to catch Rachel's eye once he got there. When she finally looked up at him, he had his hands together like he was pleading with her and she just smiled and rolled her eyes at him. After that, he was singing along and looked so happy.
Oh, they did a new song tonight, apparently, and Rachel could barely get through it, she was laughing so hard. Think it's about Nick?
And I didn't expect to really like their show, but it was pretty good. You should see them if they come to your town. The tour dates are listed on their website.
