OMG where to START! San Francisco was like 10 times better than Vegas! WOW! They are so good. Okay, I'm a recent convert to Sudden Silence (yes, I'm a BSB fan… start throwing stones now… LOL!), but I want to see every show they do from now on. I mean, I'm used to these big stage shows and am just amazed with what Rachel and the band do with nothing! Last night they completely changed the set list around and added like 2 new songs, I think.
The coolest thing that happened was we GOT OUR SHIRT TO JAMES!!!!!!!
I posted before that we'd met James, Darien and Jeremy in Vegas when we were "stalking" them at the hotel. (lol!) Well, we overheard James (he's the gay one) talking about how Rachel was so lucky to be "f***ing a Backstreet Boy" (his words, not ours!) and when we were in LA we saw this t-shirt that I can't even believe that my friend Rachel (no relation!) bought… anyway, we just HAD to get it to James. It said: "I f**ked a Backstreet Boy".
PERFECT!
We were like 5-6 rows from the stage (we overslept and didn't get to the venue until like an hour before the doors opened. No front row for us! And I was getting used to it, too!) So during the 1st song, we lobbed the t-shirt at James.
Well, Rachel (ours, not HER) throws like a girl (LOL!), so it didn't land anywhere near James, but right at Rachel's (yes, that one, not ours - man, this is confusing!) feet. She looked out and RECOGNIZED US!!! It was so cool. She held up our shirt, read it and we told her it was for James. Well, she goes over to him - this is so funny! - and give it to him. He immediately pulls it on, smiles at us and waves. (After the show he posed for a picture!) Then Rachel gets him to announce to the audience what his shirt said.
All the people around us were cracking up! It was so funny.
My friend Lisa said she was watching Nick (she was a couple rows back because this totally drunk guy kept pushing her!) during this and he was totally cracking up, too! I'm glad he didn't think we were being mean or anything.
The show was awesome. What more can I say. (well, that's publishable!)
And afterwords, our name was on the list again. Don't know HOW that happened (we were on the list in Vegas). So we go back and the band had just finished up this little band meeting with Lola (she's the tour manager, if you don't know). Rachel and Nick left like right away - dunno why. But James came over and posed for a picture and was totally nice to us. Thanked us for coming all the way to San Francisco. I told him that we'd go anywhere… but we had to go back to work. Darien called us "office drones," it was so funny!
OH! And the coolest thing was James told us to be sure to watch MTV tomorrow because they were "jetting to the coast" to be on TRL. So VOTE VOTE VOTE!

Subject: What a Day!I can't possibly recount everyting that happened yesterday. It's all like a dream! I posted a long-ass review on the SS board. But here's the BSB bits. If you want more details, feel free to private message me or just ask. I'll try to answer things for you. I'm sure I'm leaving out a lot.
1. Frank was there but no Nick. I finally asked one of the guys and they said that Nick was back in California. With Tsar apparently and then something about drinking all the mini-bars in the hotel. I don't know what that meant.
2. James is god!
3. Darien is god!
4. Jeremy is too hot for words and I love Nick and all… but I could so get converted! Rachel is a lucky lucky lucky woman!
5. At the signing my friend Cyndi was standing awestruck in front of Rachel when one of her nieces came by to talk to her. The niece (Cyndi thinks she was like 9 or 10) whispered something to Rachel that made her smile really big and then Cyndi her the little girl whisper (a little louder) "Nick says he loves you". OMG, I thought Cyndi was going to fall over. I was in front of her, so I was already talking to James (who is, btw, god… did I mention that?), but I looked over and her eyes were so BIG! It was really funny. James actually stopped and asked her if she was okay and did she need anything.
6. We got into TRL - I think I already posted that, right? They have the first 25 of us passes. This is why Darien is god. Because my friend Janet was with us, but she had summer school in the morning so she had to be farther back in line. When we got up to Darien we thanked him like 1000 times for letting us into TRL and told him that we'd been fans since they toured with Blur (which is true! Damon is my 2nd love - LOL!). We told him that our friend Janet was way behind us and was there any way we could let her come up with us. He was so cool about it. He grabbed Lola - their manager - and she told us to go get Janet. We get Janet and Lola totally hands her a TRL pass.
7. Okay, Lola is a goddess! ;-)
I'm sure there's a lot more. But I know this is a BSB board… No BSB sightings, unfortunately, but Rachel did mention him a lot. During the commercial breaks at TRL they were all teasing her about him and she even blushed once when her phone rang and they all yelled "HI NICK" into it. (It wasn't him, though, it was her brother, I think.)

He looks over at us when he's signing autographs as they left and says off-handedly that he's hungry for Ray's Pizza.

We followed them and he let us sit with them. It was so cool. I mean, he didn't have to do that. He remembered us from the signing and TRL. He and Rachel are so cute together. AND THE MOMS! They are so proud of the band, it's adorable. James' mom - Cynthia - practially showed us baby pictures of him. Too cute!
