Apparently when she arrived, she went through the front door of the XXXXXX and took all these presents that fans had for the guys. She joked with some of the girls by the doors because the security guy wouldn't let her in, then whipped out her cell phone and called Frank who came and got her.

Can you imagine. Not only does Frank have to guard Nick now, but he's got to deal with Rachel, too. They are getting to be pretty recognizable. Anyone see on the Rolling Stone site that they're going to have an article on them in the next issue? That's so cool!
Anyway… reports from inside the XXXXX say that Nick and Rachel practically did it in the hallway and then he dragged her into the room and no one's seen them since.

I saw Nick and Rachel walking out the hotel to go to the venue for soundcheck, I think.
They are SO CUTE!
They stopped and signed autographs and my word, people, he would not let the girl go for nothing! Everyone who asked for a picture, got to have Rachel in there, too. It was actually kind of funny!
I took some pics, but won't get them developed until after this weekend, we're going to go to Cincinnati tomorrow, I think. Spur of the moment idea. I'll let you know if the buses make any stops! *wink*
Anyway, Nick looks REALLY good. He looked happy and tan (where was he this week because the boy looks like he's be lounging on the beach). His hair is blonder, too, and still kinda long.
Okay, I should get going.
One more thing… don't you love it when girlfriends where their boyfriend's clothes? Rachel had this t-shirt on that was like 4 sizes too big (not fugly, though!) and she looked so cute! ;-)

She said the show was, of course, awesome! The boys were so good! Like they never missed a date. And AJ was amazing. His voice sounds a 100% better (I never noticed there was anything wrong in the first place!) and when he came out for his little talk with the crowd, he could barely talk. Was all choked up, said he wanted to kiss everyone (lol!) and thanked everyone for their support and encouragement.
HE'S BETTER!!!!!!
She said it was so cool!
What else?
- On the bridge AJ and Nick had a silly string fight and Nick tried to get Frank (who was in the pit part of the time with Rachel - hmmm…) but he got the "Frank death glare" so he got Rachel instead. Bet she was pissed
- I know this isn't a SS board… but Frack said Rachel looked amazing. They had like 5th row and she (along with all the girls except Kristin who ISN'T there!) was in the pit the whole time. Even came out before they went on and signed some autographs. That was cool. Frack got pictures, but said that Nick could not keep his eyes off her. During What Makes You Different (I think), he sang one of the verses to her, even. Sweet!
- When they were on their risers before the show started there was something going on. She doesn't know if the sound wasn't right or they were stuck or what… but they were all chatting into their headsets and it looked like Nick was trying not to laugh at one point. And then they all turned and looked at Kevin. At the same time. She said it was hilarious!
That's all I remember. I'm sure there are details I'm leaving out.

Subject: Waffle Houses are good, m'kay? (Breakfast with BSB!)If this hadn't happened to me, I never would have believed it. But I have pictures, so I guess it really did happen.
Lisa and I saw the Boys in MN, and since we had to go back to Cincinnati anyway, we decided to stalk the buses. We started out with all five, but after a few hours, we'd lost them. Badly timed bathroom break. Or really incredibly well timed, actually!
Around four in the morning, we were so tired we were loopy, so we gave up and stopped at a Waffle House for coffee and breakfast. We played every BSB track on the jukebox, and were giggling into our coffee when I looked up and…
Really, I'm not lying.
I looked up and AJ and Nick were walking in!
I was tanked up on caffeine, I screamed. Lisa whirled around to see what I was screaming at and she screamed, too.
AJ screamed and Nick fell out laughing. AJ did this whole 'what? What happened?' routine, wondering if we were being robbed or something. By this point, we were sitting there, just staring at them. I think this is when I noticed that Sarah and Rachel and this other woman were with them.
The next thing I know, AJ and Nick are standing in front of us, asking us our names and how we liked the show and offering autographs. (We were wearing our BSB concert t-shirts, so even if we hadn't screamed, they'd have known we were fans!) They were soooooo nice! We didn't have anything for them to sign (our programs were in the car and we were NOT leaving that building for anything!) so the waitress found a pen and they signed napkins. They talked to us for probably five minutes, then went to sit down in the back corner, there was a big booth there.
Nick went to sit down, but then looked around all lost and said 'where's Rachel?' Sarah told him she went back on the bus to get a sweatshirt- it was about 40 degrees in this Waffle House, I guess their air conditioning was really working- and two minutes later, Rachel came back in wearing a white sweater that had to be Nick's, it was so big. She's really tiny, btw, guess when you see her on TV she has so much attitude that she looks tall, but she's not.
I managed to screw up my courage and ask her for an autograph, and you should have seen her, she was so cute and excited that I knew who she was. I know some people on this board don't like her, but I think her CD is awesome, and she was totally sweet to us.
And Nick really really really loves her, it's so obvious, the way they are together. He came over to the jukebox while we were talking and when she was done chatting with us, she went over to him and they were adorable, playing with each other and fighting over what to play.
Nick and Rachel sat down, and our food came, and we tried to listen to everything they were saying, but they were sorta across the room from us. I had my back to them, but Lisa kept telling me what they were doing. Nick and Rachel were on one side of the booth with the at this point still mystery woman and AJ and Sarah were on the other, and they were all teasing the mystery woman about whose bus she was going to be on.
Mystery woman had cameras with her. Plural. I think she took pictures when AJ and Nick were talking to us, I sorta remember flashbulbs.
Did you figure it out yet? I'd heard that Em Evesham was going to be taking pictures at the show, and how many people carry around more than one camera when they go into a Waffle House?
But how we figured this out for sure is the best part of the story.
We're deep in discussion over our hash browns when this deep voice from the doorway says "Yeah, great, never invite Kevin to the fun stuff!"
We scream again. Kevin was there! We both love Kevin best!
And he does that thing I love, he caught my eye and made that calm Kevy move, all 'ok, girls, stop screaming'
The next thing I know, he's sitting next to me.
KEVIN RICHARDSON SAT DOWN NEXT TO ME!!!!!!!!!
Lisa and I could not speak. He laid his arm out across the back of my seat and just smiled at me. How could I speak when those eyes were smiling into mine? He is so amazingly beautiful. The cornrows were out, his hair was all falling around his face, and he was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.
Seeing that I was mute, he glanced over at my plate. "Ooh," he said. "Covered and chunked? I am partial to the smothered, myself."
(if you don't have a Waffle House near you, they are known for their hash browns with added stuff. 'covered' is with cheese, 'chunked' is with ham, 'smothered' is with onions, and there's other stuff, but I never get those)
Listen to this for witty banter:
"They're smothered, too," I say. All excited. Like an IDIOT! Oooh, Kevin and I have something in common, we like onions. OOOOH!
I disgust myself sometimes.
However, I am not lying when I tell you that Kevin and Lisa and I discussed hash browns for a good three minutes. I have no earthly idea what we said, but I know that it was all about hash browns. We did move on to raisin toast after a bit. He noticed our autographed napkins and while he was signing it, Lisa asked where Kristin was.
He grinned, totally grinned, and looked over at the others. "She's in LA working, which means I get to flirt with Em over there."
"Em Evesham?" I squeaked, and he nodded, then leaned over to whisper.
"Don't tell anyone, but I have a crush on her. Have for years. Unfortunately she likes British fellas."
Oh, look, this is me telling the world!
Like he's ever gonna find out?
On that note, he said goodnight to us very sweetly, then went over and pulled Em out of her seat, and proceeded to DANCE WITH HER in the middle of a freaking WAFFLE HOUSE!
Can you imagine anything more romantic than that? It was to that Dixie Chicks song about cowboys that I can never remember the name of. I think Rachel played it, because while we were staring in amazement at Kevin and Em dancing and giggling at one another, I saw Rachel reach over and take AJ's cowboy hat to put it on Nick's head. Nick was teasing her about playing a country song, I heard him say with that adorable whine he has 'what the hell is this crap you played? Where is my rock babe?' But she just smiled at him and started singing along, and after about a minute, I couldn't watch them anymore, he was looking at her all melty and sweet and I thought maybe they were going to leave and go back on the tour bus to be alone.
But they didn't, the song was over and Kevin and Em sat back down with the others and AJ and Nick were trying to get Kevin to leave, saying he wasn't invited, but then Kevin told them that he'd take Em on his bus and all was forgiven.
I think AJ and Sarah and Nick and Rachel wanted to be ALONE on their respective buses. I heard somewhere that Em was following AJ around all day, his first day back on the tour and all, and AJ kept telling her to stop taking pictures, so I think he was sick of it. I think. Lisa and I might have made all that up, we could only hear every few words of their conversation. Like, AJ wasn't mad at Em or anything like that, and she didn't look upset, really, at his teasing, but I can't really imagine having someone follow me around taking my picture all day.
And before anyone gets all freaked out that Kevin was flirting with Em while his wife wasn't there, that was obviously nothing. They danced and that was all, obviously they're friends. She's been doing their pictures for ages, I'm sure they are. Although Rachel did say that James (the guy in her band) was gonna be all mad that he wasn't there, because maybe Kevin would have danced with him. Apparently James - he's the gay one - has a huge crush on our Kevy. Isn't that funny. Isn't he the one that has the *Nsync doll in the Sudden Silence video?
So, that's sorta it. We stayed until after they left, like anything could have made us leave? But we didn't hear much, they just looked like a bunch of friends having breakfast together. They laughed a lot, and the waitress told us they left a huge tip. After we got that piece of info, we found the buses, parked around back. AJ was already gone, but Nick and Kevin were leaning against one of them, watching as Rachel and Em talked.
An hour later, we figured it out. Rachel used to date that guy in Blur, Damon Albarn, the singer. Em Evesham is married to the bassist in Blur, Alex James. So Rachel and Em must know each other from way back. They acted like old friends, they were standing in the parking lot holding hands and talking a mile a minute. I distinctly heard Em say "Then I'll make Alex pick me up and bring Lexer. I'll call him from the road, even, when's your flight?"
I think "Lexer" is Em's baby (Alexa for Alex maybe?). That's a guess, but a good one, because Rachel turned around to Nick and said "I want to see the baby, OK, honey?"
He shrugged. "Whatever, Rache. Can we go now?"
She giggled and hugged Em and told her to call, then jumped on the bus with Nick, and Em followed Kevin on to his.
This time we didn't lose them, we followed them to the hotel, but when we got there, there were like 20 fans waiting. Nick looked completely beat and Frank tried to get them in quick, so we didn't bug them. Hell, we just had breakfast with Backstreet!!!!
