Jana squinted at the clock in confusion. She was certain she just closed her eyes for a minute, but her alarm had gone off ten minutes ago. Now, it was making some other noise. Somehow, it sounded like the doorbell and she squinted at it again when she heard it again. Stretching her arm, she picked it up, figuring out it was turned off as she heard it again. It sounded like the doorbell, because it was the doorbell. She turned the clock over, noting the time and was suddenly more awake.

Who'd be at the door at five in the morning? Was there some kind of emergency?

She pulled the blankets back and wrapped her robe around her, heading to the door as the bell rang again. Peeking through the peephole, she unlocked it quickly, confused, but smiling. "What are you doing here?"

Kevin walked past her with a picnic basket, kissing her forehead quickly. "I missed you," he said easily. "And you've got to eat before you go off, right? So…" He lifted the picnic basket slightly. "Breakfast, and I get to see you briefly."

"You brought me breakfast?" she laughed, going over to rest her head on his arm.

"If we're lucky, the muffin's may still be warm."

"Warm muffins?"

"Home made, too, darlin'. I've been baking them since 4:00 this morning."

"You are amazing!" she laughed, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Give me five minutes."
She went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and run a comb through her hair, and when she came out, he'd set a blanket in the middle of the living room floor. A basket filled with muffin's were covered with a towel, coffee was poured and he'd opened the curtains to let a stream of sunlight in. "You definitely know how to make an atmosphere," she said with a smile, going over to sit and lean back against his chest, taking his hands to wrap them around her.

"Good surprise?" he asked, moving the material off her shoulder to kiss it gently.

"Fabulous," she said, tilting her head as he kissed the crook of her neck. He reached out and picked up a muffin, breaking a piece off and feeding it to her, kissing her shoulder again. "Oh, wow…if you ever want to give up music, start a bakery. These are amazing!" She dropped her head back against his shoulder and he placed another piece in her mouth, smiling as he watched her. "You're the bestest boyfriend ever!" she giggled.

"You've been working hard," he said, kissing her cheek. "I thought you deserved something special."

"You're going to spoil me. I might expect this kind of thing all the time, you know."

"If it would make you smile, I'd do it."

"How do I return the favor then? I can't cook."

"Just…keep smiling."

She turned around, wrapping her legs around his waist as she sat between his legs. She draped her arms around his shoulder and leaned forward, kissing him deeply. When she pulled back, she tugged on his goatee slightly and kissed him quickly. "What's on your schedule for today?" He lifted his shoulder in a shrug. "No where to be?"

"Not till noon."

"Mmm…wanna make me late?"

"Is that possible?"

"You tell me," she said in a flirty tone.

He smiled with a slow nod. "How about you? Can you really afford to be late?"

"If it's for a good reason." She moved closer and kissed him deeply. "Can you be good, Kevy?"

"I think I can try real hard."

She slipped away from him and stretched her hand out as she headed back towards the bedroom. "I miss you," she whispered, leading him to the bed before kissing him.

~

Kara, another dancer on the tour, glanced at the clock on the wall. "I thought you were going to meet me at six-thirty?"

"I know. I'm sorry…my fabulous boyfriend surprised me with breakfast in bed," she giggled.

Kara giggled with her, walking towards the locker room. "The last time my boyfriend did anything but change the batteries in the remote? I can't even tell you."

"Well, we'll see how long this lasts. It's still pretty new." She looked down, but couldn't help but smile. "But he's usually pretty attentive."

"This is the Backstreet Boy?" Kara asked as Jana nodded. "You know, I read about all that nonsense. I felt bad for you two - your private life splattered all over the tabloids. Must have been hard." All Jana could do was shrug, changing into her work out clothes. "Well, either way, if he makes you smile like that, I guess it's all worth it, huh?"

"He can be pretty amazing, but we're still taking our time."

"Well, don't take too long. Guys get impatient if they don't get their way."

"He's had his way," Jana said, looking at her.

"Oh?"

"He's learning new tricks," she said with a grin. "We'll see how well he remembers them."

~

Kevin dropped down onto the couch and giggled, shaking his head at the disgusting stupidity of his day. Jana sat on the arm of the couch, running her fingers through his hair gently, curiously.

"Well," he started in a slow drawl, "we had to lay in a tank separated into three parts. Our feet were covered in big, fat, juicy earthworms." He turned to look at her, and she stopped running her fingers through his hair, looking at him disgust. "Then our heads were covered in Madagascar hissing roaches," he continued with a gleam in his eye as she pulled her hand completely away from him and jumped back from the arm of the couch. "And we had snakes dumped over the middle section, and we had to pick out ten white snakes..."

Jana shook her hands and physically cringed with eyes squeezed shut, stomping her feet in disgust. "You didn't!"

"That's not even the best part!" he said excitedly, reaching out to her, but she jumped back.

"Oh my God!" she squealed. "Outside! Get outside and take those clothes off."

"I wasn't wearin…"

"I don't care! Get naked! And don't do it in here! Oh my God!"

"But the best part was making Alison eat three worms!" he taunted with a devilish grin, watching Jana cringe and squeal in disgust again. "She had a choice…"

"Stop!" Jana ordered, covering her face. "Outside! Get those clothes off!"

"I already showered…" he started again, standing up and attempting to wrap his arms around her.

She pulled back, slapping at him and squealing. "I don't care! I want to make sure!"

"What? Ya think one of the roaches climbed up my ass without me noticing?" he teased.

"Go!" she ordered, pointing to the back door that led to the deck, jumping up and down on her toes as he attempted to touch her again. She lifted her shoulders, pulling her arms up tightly against herself. "Oh my God! I can't believe you did that!"

"It was fine except for the roaches, man," he said making his way to the patio doors. "They got pissed and started hissing, and they were right in your ear…crawling on your…"

"Stop!" she screamed, jumping up and down again. "Stop before I don't let you shower and just decide to hose you down out there!"

"Hey," he said with a tilt of his head, "at least I didn't have to eat anything. I did make her show me though." He laughed.

"You what?"

He stepped out onto the deck and pulled his shirt off, shaking it out for good measure with a smirk. "Well, she lost, and if she wanted to stay in the game, they said…"

"You made her show you?" Jana asked, standing at the door, ready to slam it shut if she saw anything.

"She chose to eat three worms. She could've just eaten one of the roaches. The host did."

"Oh my God!" She cringed again as he laughed.

"I said she had to show me…"

"Just to be a complete prick," Jana interrupted.

He stepped out of his camouflage pants and considered her comment. "Well, yeah," he admitted with a proud smile, shaking out his pants. "I didn't expect her to actually do it, but man…"

"You're such a boy sometimes it scares me!"

He pulled his tee shirt off and shook it out. "See? No bugs, no snakes and no worms."

"You're not naked," she said, closing the door over a bit.

He lifted an eyebrow at her, keeping his eyes on hers as he bent over and removed his boxers, shaking them out. "Nothing," he said, dropping them onto the pile.

"Shower," she said authoritatively, pointing behind her towards the bathroom as she stepped back from the door. He walked past her, completely amused with himself, and tried to lean over and kiss her, but she pulled away and pushed at his shoulder. "You made a girl eat worms and you want me to kiss you?"

"I didn't make her do anything!" he protested with a laugh. "All I did was make her show me."

"You're so mean!" she said, following behind him. "But you have such a fabulous ass."

He stopped and looked at her, leaning over to turn the water on. "You just wanted me naked, didn't you?"

"Cleanse yourself, Richardson," she said, wagging her finger towards the shower.

He stepped behind the curtain and stuck his head out. "You're not going to inspect to make sure I get everything?"

"I'm waiting until everything's had a chance to fall off."

"It wasn't that bad, really." He disappeared behind the curtain again. "Just the roaches, really. Dang, they were pissed. I mean, it ain't a spa or anything…"

Sticking her head around the curtain, she watched him rub his hands through his hair. "You're such a boy!"

"I had brothers," Kevin said, looking to her. "Do you really think this was anything I hadn't faced before?"

"They poured bugs, worms and snakes on you?" she asked doubtfully.

"Not quite that drastic," he laughed, "but a few worms didn't kill me. Besides, she puked 'em right back up once we got outside." He laughed and stepped forward, grabbing Jana and pulling her into the shower with him as she screamed in protest. He had her by the waist though and lifted her into the water, kissing her. "No bugs, no worms and no snakes. I'm officially de-bugged, darlin'."

He peeled her tee shirt over her head and let it drop to the tub floor and kissed her neck as he attempted to un-hook her bra. "Now I gotta check you for bugs," he teased, running his fingertips across her back like something crawling on her.

"Oh, stop!" She pushed at him, cringing again.

"Maybe they jumped from me to you," he laughed, pulling at the waistband of her Capri pants and panties. "Gotta make sure none of them escape, right?"

"I can't believe this is a turn on for you," she said with a shake of her head.

He lifted his head and pressed his mouth against her, kissing her deeply. "It's not the bugs," he said. "It's the wet tee shirt."

"Please, you're feeling like a total boy," she laughed, playfully attempting to push away from him indignantly, but not trying too hard.

"I always feel like a boy," he laughed in her ear, sliding up closer to her. "Just need to make sure we're free of creepy-crawlies, right? It's my job as the man in the house, isn't it? Spiders, snakes, bugs…?" He ran his fingers along the back of her neck as if something was crawling, making her cringe. He lowered his head, nipped her shoulder and pulled back pretending to chew. "Mmmm…Madagascar cockroaches," he teased, leaning closer and making a hissing noise in her ear.

She pulled back and squealed again, slapping at his chest and shaking her hands again. "Kevin! Stop already! You're totally creeping me out!"

He laughed as she squirmed against him. "Well, are you satisfied now that I didn't bring back any unwanted pets?" he asked, leaning his head back under the stream of water.

"Let me double check," she said, running her hands through his hair, down his neck and back. She placed her hands on either buttock and squeezed them as he looked down to her with a grin before she lowered to keep running her hand along his thighs and calves. She made her way back up, feeling up his shins and legs before reaching beneath his balls and sliding her hand along his erection. "Nothing hiding in there, that's for sure," she giggled, kissing his chest as she spread her palms over his belly and up to his shoulders. "I think you're free of unusual bugs," she commented, dropping her hands to his waist.

He turned around and turned off the water, pushing the curtain back and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around both of them. "Your turn," he said. "I think a cavity check is in order." He walked her backwards, heading back down the hall with the both of them wrapped in a towel until they were just beyond the hallway in the living room area. Leaning her against the wall, he let go of the towel to leave it hanging over her shoulders and dropped down to his knees, running his hands along the inside of her thighs.

Before too long, his inspection turned to kissing, and she dropped back against the wall, slowly sliding down as he moved back until she was lying with her head and shoulders propped against the wall with one knee over one of his shoulders. She could feel his tongue along the inside of her thigh, slowly darting in and out until he was able to wrap his lips around her clit and suck at her. "Oh, God, Kev," she gasped as he shoved his tongue deep inside several times. She pushed against the wall, lifting her hips against him, and put her hands through the short strands of his hair, holding him against her as he continued to suck and gently nip at her clit with varying pressure.

She could feel her head spin as she gasped for breath and arched her back in orgasm, but he didn't pull back, continuing to run his tongue around the sensitive area until she had to pull away. He kissed the inside of her thighs and up her belly, running the tip of his tongue around her nipples before sucking at them briefly. He lifted her other knee aside and lowered himself down, kissing her neck before thrusting his erection deep inside.

"Harder, Kev," she gasped, pulling him into her and dropping her head to the carpet. "Deeper." He pulled back slightly and lowered himself until her knees were on either side of his shoulder, lifting slightly until he was able to forcefully bury himself entirely into her, grunting at the pressure and pleasure of being inside. "God, yes, baby..." she moaned, reaching down to brush against his thighs, "...harder." She closed her eyes and arched her back with the next thrust, moaning as she bit her bottom lip.

He couldn't control the rhythm any longer and drove himself deeper, dropping his head back to the sound of her gasps and moaning against him, feeling her fingertips brush against the outside of his thighs as she tried to grab on. Finally, his entire body shuddered as he exploded deep inside her, unable to move until it spread through the rest of his body, and finally he dropped on top of her, his head buried in the crook of her neck.

He could hear her heart pounding against his ear along with the way her fingertips shook as she tried to run them along his spine, giving up completely to just rest her palms flat against his back. As he gained his composure and breath, he buried his head deeper against her neck and parted his lips to taste the mix of water and sweat with his tongue until he found her mouth, crushing his lips against her and kissing her deeply. He dropped his head to her shoulder and licked her collarbone, then moved along her neck until he was kissing the tender flesh behind her ear. Smiling against her, he started hissing.

"You fuck!" she squealed and squirmed beneath him as he belly laughed, kissing her chest.

"Last one," he teased in a laugh, pulling back and pretending to chew. "Oh, the cream filled kind!"

~

Kevin waited in the hotel bar, sipping a glass of wine, unable to wipe the smile off his face. Even when he tried and shook his head at the wonder of the show he'd seen, he couldn't budge it. Even he felt the rush of the performance, and he was just a spectator, watching Jana do dance steps in a precision he didn't think was actually possible until he saw them first hand.

He'd always had a certain respect for Janet Jackson. Tonight, he had flown out to catch the show in Louisville, but nothing could have prepared him for what he'd seen. Fatima had worked her dancers…she'd worked him, but watching Jana on stage tonight, somehow, she never made it look like work. Her body seemed to be electrified with excitement, but still, somehow, she had made it all look like each step had come naturally. She could work an attitude, she could work a seduction, but what got him was the smile when the lights faded and he caught her off guard.

"Kev? People are going to think I'm with your twin brother," Tim teased, nudging him with his elbow as he stood at the bar. "The one that's been locked away in the Looney bin, if you don't stop grinning like that."

"Did you see her?" Kevin asked, sounding astonished. "Really, Tim, did you see her?"

"I saw her, Kev! Yes! I was standing right next to you!"

"Yeah, but…"

"She was amazing, yes," Tim finished for him knowingly. "I'm not saying she wasn't."

"I know…but…dang!" Kevin stood up straight and turned to face the room, leaning next to Tim. "Somehow I suddenly feel guilty for resenting how hard she worked on this."

"Well, you should," Tim chuckled before sipping his beer. "You're not going to be able to hold her down, little bro. She's too good, and people know it."

"Hold her down?" he asked in confusion, looking back at him. "Why the hell would I want to hold her down?"

Tim glanced over to him with a slight grin. "You just said you resented her working so hard, Kev. No room for resentment."

"Well…I didn't mean it that way! I didn't tell her. I just meant…" He sipped his beer and looked to the door. "I guess I didn't really know she was that good."

Tim dropped his chin and lifted an eyebrow as he looked at Kevin. "You're kidding me, right? Because I may not be in the business, Kev, but hell, even I know what it takes to dance with a Jackson."

"I know what it takes," he protested. "I'm just…oh, never mind. Just drink your beer."

Tim placed his hand on Kevin's back and chuckled. "You knew just how good she was," he said with a slow nod. "You just never let yourself stand back and watch it because you were too busy being in the spotlight, Kev." He turned to face him. "And let's face it, you like it in the spotlight. Always have."

"Oh, gimme a break!" Kevin scoffed.

"Kevin… Who do you think you're talking to? Man, I grew up with you. I watched you preen, and fix your hair, and flex in the mirror… Maybe you didn't notice, but other people do, but they also like the way you're not cocky about it, so you win 'em over."

"Since when?"

"Always, Kev…really!" He shook his head and sipped his beer, looking around the bar. "This is why you end up in situations like this."

Kevin placed his drink down and dropped his chin. "Like this?"

"Kev, I love ya. You're my brother and I love you, but…you're not the most observant guy I know."

"Huh?"

Tim smiled at him. "Kev, you've got a good heart, and you always mean well, but you don't really… Whatever. Your lady's on her way in."

"Wait a minute…"

Jana came up behind him. "Uh oh, did I interrupt something?" Jana came up behind him, looking between Kevin and Tim curiously.

"No," Tim said, as Kevin answered "yes."

"I'll go get a drink while you two make up your mind."

"No, wait," Kevin reached out for her.

"Kev?" Tim glanced at him. "Think about what you're doing."

Kevin looked at Jana. She was dressed in her usual after-show clothes, stretch pants and a tank top, and her hair was pulled back in a headband. Her usual after-show outfit, but she was glowing. Her eyes were shining beneath the curious look she was giving them, a smile stifled with it. 'This is her moment.' That is what Tim was trying to tell him with that steady look. 'And you're on the verge of making it about you,' he finished to himself, looking back to Tim.

"Never mind," Kevin said with a shake of his head. "What're you drinking?" Tim merely patted Kevin's back with a smile and turned back to looking around the bar.

"Wanna play winners?" Tim asked Jana, motioning to the pool table.
