It started out innocently enough. Okay, well... maybe "innocent" is the wrong term to use for it.
But it started out - as many good writing projects do, ironically enough - with writer's block. Readers asking you for an update and the words just not coming quick enough or in the right order. Well, some words did come to us... but in the right order for about a year into the future!
Since it was close to Nick's birthday, we decided to turn a one-off future scene into a short story (*ahem*). Plot? Who needs plot?
It's a gift. A diversion. Something fun to pass the time while we got back to the business at hand.
So it's three years on and the tradition continues.
